What Kinds of Things Do Aspiring Models Learn in Coaching Class?

A solid modeling class curriculum should give students a great overview of the industry and cover all the main aspects, including:

  • The categories students will learn - Runway, Fashion, Commercial, Print etc.

  • Photoshoots - What to expect on set, how to pose, how to work the camera

  • Posture and walking - How to achieve a confident walk on the runway and beyond

 

  • Hair and Makeup application - Professional tips and tricks to enhance your own unique look

  • Skin Care Expert Tips - How to take care of your skin naturally and avoiding the "DON'TS" to maintain a healthier glowing skin.

 

  • Model basics - The business side of the industry (contracts, pay, etc.), auditions/go-sees, model bags, portfolios, comp cards

  • Health - Nutrition, fitness, and a positive body image

  • Safety - Self-defense, avoiding scams, and protecting yourself from dangerous situations

 

WE CERTIFY EACH STUDENT UPON COMPLETING THE FULL THREE (3) MONTHS PROGRAM.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION WILL BE PROVIDED.

Students can choose and enroll the month-to-month options instead of the full three (3) months program.

Session Options: 

  •  Applies to all program: Runway Edition | Intermediate (Basics) | Beginners (Portfolio)

  •  Below schedule is available throughout the year, summer classes are available full day 7 days a week with the same schedule for Saturday and Sunday classes.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Two (2) hours and 30 minutes per session

  • 6:00pm - 8:30pm

Friday: Two (2) hours and 30 minutes per session

  • 5:30pm - 8:00pm

  • 8:30pm - 11:00pm

 

Saturday: Two (2) hours and 30 minutes per session

  • 8:30am - 11:00am

  • 11:30am - 2:00pm

  • 2:30pm - 5:00pm

  • 5:30pm - 8:00pm

  • 8:30pm - 11:00pm

Sunday: Two (2) hours and 30 minutes per session

  • 8:30am - 11:00am

  • 11:30am - 2:00pm

  • 2:30pm - 5:00pm

  • 5:30pm - 8:00pm

FIRST MONTH: RUNWAY EDITION - $149

First Month: Runway Edition

  •  Weekly session will be the same to ensure students get the full month runway walk practice

  •  Scholar Tuition Fee: $149.00 per month

  •  Non-scholar Tuition Fee: $450.00 per month

What you will learn for this program?:

  • 15 minutes Exercise before the session starts

  • Posture and walking 

  • How to achieve a confident walk on the runway and beyond

Program Breakdown:

  • Complete set of uniform included: Miles Models V-neck shirt, Black Skirt, Knee High Socks, White Scarf (Students will provide their own shoes) - (Black blazer is available in our office for students to borrow if they get cold or for photo purposes only)

  • 4 weeks program

  • Once a week

  • 2 hours and 30 minutes per session 

  • Up to 25 students per class

 

Grade Level:

  • Elementary: 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade |  Age: 8 years old to 10 years old

  • Middle School: 6th, 7th and 8th Grade | Age: 11 years old to 14 years old

  • High School: 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade | Age: 15 years old to 18 years old

SECOND MONTH: INTERMEDIATE - $199 

Second Month: Intermediate (Basics)

  •  Students will get evaluated individually based on their grade level to be able to enroll or join this program.

  •  Scholar Student Tuition Fee: $199.00 per month

  •  Non-scholar Student Tuition Fee: $600.00 per month

What I will learn for this program?:

  • First Week (Makeup Class): Professional Makeup Artist will be coaching our students for Makeup application professional tips and tricks to enhance your own unique look. Will teach 3 different makeup looks: Go-see look, Beauty look and Formal look.

  • Second Week (Hairstyling Class): Professional Hairstylist will be educating students how to make you feel good about their appearance by giving them a flattering hairstyle that compliments different hair types. Will teach 3 different hairstyles: Go-see look, Beauty look and Formal look

  • Third Week (Styling Class): Industry Stylist will be teaching some basics of styling, put looks together and have students bring their own garments to put looks together.

  • Fourth Week (Guest Coach): The business side of the industry (contracts, pay, etc.) Auditions/go-sees, model bags, portfolios, comp cards and more...

Program Breakdown:

  • 4 weeks program

  • Once a week

  • 2 hours and 30 minutes per session 

  • Up to 18 students per class

Grade Level:

  • Not available for Elementary

  • Middle School: 6th, 7th and 8th Grade | Age: 11 years old to 14 years old

  • High School: 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade | Age: 15 years old to 18 years old

THIRD MONTH: STUDENT PORTFOLIO - $249 

Third Month: Photoshoot (Portfolio) 

  •  Scholar Student Tuition Fee: $249.00 per month

  •  Non-scholar Student Tuition Fee: Varies depending on the portfolio package, ranges from $1,100 to $1,550 per package

  •  Professional Photographer

  •  What to expect on set, posing and how to work in front and behind the camera

  •  Raw images will be send via email with Dropbox links

  •  Edits upon request and additional charge base on the photographers rate: $25 per image

  •  Students will bring or provide their own outfits; refer below weekly mandatory outfits

 

Weekly Calendar:

  • First Week (DIGITALS): (Female: Solid black leggings, black tank, black heels) - (Male: Solid black V-neck shirt, black pants or jeans, black semi-formal shoes)

  • Second Week (HEADSHOT): (Female: Solid black turtleneck long sleeve, black leggings, black heels) - (Male: Solid black turtleneck long sleeve, black pants or jeans, black semi-formal shoes)

  • Third Week (FITNESS): Any matching fitness sets, short or long, any color, any style will be fine, bring options to choose from including gym shoes.

  • Fourth Week (COMMERCIAL / LIFESTYLE): Students can choose their own preferred style: Dress (Short/Long), matching sets, jeans + top/blouse etc. Students can bring their own props (product of their choice)  and accessories like purses, hats, bags, sunglasses etc.

Program Breakdown:

  • Complete set of uniform included: Miles Models V-neck shirt, Black Skirt, Knee High Socks, White Scarf (Students will provide their own shoes) - (Black blazer is available in our office for students to borrow if they get cold or for photo purposes only)

  • 4 weeks program

  • Once a week

  • 2 hours and 30 minutes per session 

  • 20 students per class (10 Students per photographer) will have two (2) photographer will be working at the same time and split the students into (two) 2 different group

 

Grade Level:

  • Elementary: 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade |  Age: 8 years old to 10 years old

  • Middle School: 6th, 7th and 8th Grade | Age: 11 years old to 14 years old

  • High School: 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grade | Age: 15 years old to 18 years old
